i’d never been out to real fine arts before, never even heard of them, it’s a really nice space but im not sure if i’m sold on their exhibitions…
the tyler dobson show they put up is really nice but a lot of the other work is kind of what you would expect from a “brooklyn venue”
That’s interesting. Can you say a bit more about what you’d expect from a “brooklyn venue?” I’m not so familiar with the distinction, but I’m interested to know about it.
What did you think, for example, of the Yuji Agematsu show we published this week? I generally agreed with Roberta Smith’s take:
